MIGA: Make Internet Greater Again
|
MIGA, short for Make Internet Greater Again, is a grassroots ethos from tech and open-source communities. It critiques modern internet issues like platform monopolies, algorithmic control, privacy risks, and over-commercialization. MIGA calls for a return to the internet's original spirit: openness, free sharing, connection, and user autonomy, striving for a more open, equal, and public digital space.
My Vision for the Internet
Long live the Internet! Yet today's online environment is far from satisfactory.
I hope to return the Internet to its human-centered original spirit, rejecting the financialization, speculation, and pseudo-decentralization of Web3, and reviving the open, free, and inclusive essence of the Web1/2 era. I wish for more openness, understanding, and rational thinking online, making knowledge sharing easier, technical communication smoother, and human connections closer.
The Internet should be a public space for information and connection, not a casino or money-printing machine for a select few. Here we express our individuality and present ourselves freely, passionately, and creatively — not controlled by algorithms, traffic, echo chambers, and fake content.
Make the Internet greater again!
